Have you wondered what are the facts regarding those who are vaccinated against Covid-19?
- Do they get the virus?
- How severe, if they do?
- Has anyone died from Coronavirus once fully vaccinated?
To answer these questions, let’s look at some statistics:
According to the CDC, as of the end of July 2021, 6,587 people who were fully vaccinated were hospitalized or died from Covid-19. (1)
In the Provincetown, Massachusetts outbreak of July 2021, of those fully vaccinated, 8 out of 10 individuals had Coronavirus symptoms. (1)
So according to these and other statistics, a fully vaccinated person:
- Can get Coronavirus
- Can have symptoms of the illness
- Can get sick enough to need hospital care
- Can die as a result of Covid-19 infection
