Yes, it is known that an individual can still contract Covid even if vaccinated. Then that person can spread Covid to others.
(I personally wonder if Covid is spread more in certain circumstances because the person has thrown “caution to the wind.”)
Interestingly, this individual tested negative for Covid, even though obviously experiencing symptoms.
Here’s the case report:
- Two rapid antigen tests performed (taken a day apart) = negative results on both
- PCR blood test performed = came back positive
